Network Node tracks last time it was unavailable
Hello
1. We have a few network nodes in our model, and they read a database which shows them their availability and non-availability as time ticks by. We would like to know if there is any way we can assign a static variable or a global table cell with the value that the last time the node was available or unavailable. 2. We would also like to know if its possible to know the efficiency of a network node, saying how long it was available or unavailable during the whole simulation run. Thanks |

You´ve made the Networknode unavailable, not the connection (travelpath) between two networknodes?

Yes, we actually meant the connection between the network nodes. As time ticks by, the connection changes from red to green, and back to red etc....

I´m not sure, if you can get statistics about separate travelpaths.
If you are working with triggers, you could set the times a port closes and opens to a global table and find out this way, how long it was closed or opened. For getting percentages the experimenter may help. This could be a solution for your first problem either, because of using more than one cell. One with the actual time, the second with the amount of your choosen state. But wouldn´t it be very easy to calculate in Excel (or any other calculation programm)? Because you allready got the informations in a table!? Sorry if I understood you wrong. I normaly use Flexsim for Data preparation if nothing else works.
