Default How to set next service to be An Hour later

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a model that requires some patient to have their blood taken, with doctors reporting the results of the blood test.
As the Blood test takes an hour, the doctor can only see the patients after the completion of the Blood Test.

Is there any way to allow the patients to be seen after an hour(after completion of blood test), while the doctors are able to see to the other patients?

Thank you in advance for your respond!
Cheers!

You can use a Process > Send Item Activity for the blood draw, and send the item to a item queue - item processing - item exit objects... on exit you set a trigger to start activity with the defaul options. then you set the doctor exam (with the results) to have it self as predecessor so this activity will only starts when the items (blood sample) is processed. Also you need to set the assigned activity id option on the blood draw activity as the id of the doctor exam activity...

not sure if the explanations is clear enough.....

regards..

Pablo

Hi Pablo,
Thank you for your help regarding this issue.

Your explanation is really clear(Thanks again!), however, I do not understand what you mean by setting the same activity id for blood draw and doctor exam activity.
Do you mean the activity id found at the 'Patients Tracks'?

Cheers!
