I can't change the value of 'Moves per Hour' 30 (default value) in Ship Schedule of the Berth Planner.
Hi.
I can't change the value of 'Moves per Hour' 30 (default value) in Ship Schedule of the Berth Planner. Is it not changeable to other value? Or my CT installation is wrong? What is the problem? If anyone knows about it, please make me know it. Regards. |

This is a bug in Flexsim CT 3. I will add it to the development list for the next version. For now, you will just have to live with a default value of 30 moves per hour for the estimated ship departure time. The actual ship departure time is based on other factors so this value doesn't affect the results of the simulation anyway.

Hi. Bobo. How can I change the default value of Moves per Hour?
I find the default value of 30 not to be changed to the other value in 3.3 version.
If the value 30 can't be changed in Ship Schedule tab of Planner, how can I control it in replacing with it? The capacity of the quay cranes I want to change is from 35 to 37 moves per hour. The berth capacity per year should be calculated according to the values. I am waiting for your guide. All the best. |

This issue is still on the development list.
You change the actual speed of the cranes in their Properties window. The value shown on the Ship Schedule tab of the Berth Planner doesn't affect the simulation at all. It only affects how big the green bars are drawn in that window, which are just estimates on how long it might take the cranes to finish working the ship. The actual times are determined by the simulation. Also, the ship leaves when it is actually finished; the scheduled departure time in that window is just a helpful guide for the modeler to determine a potential ship schedule without having real data. This issue doesn't affect the simulation. All it affects is the draw code of the ship schedule. If your cranes work faster than 30 moves per hour, imagine that the green bar is a bit shorter than it currently shows. The "Total Containers Per Week" and "Total Containers Per Year" calculated at the bottom of the view aren't affected by the cranes' capacities. They are calculated from the min/max values defined in the hatch profiles and also shown on the Services tab. |
