Default Modeling change shift

Hi

I have a scenario where there two teams for two shifts. My problem happen during the time near to changing shift.

The 1st shift operator is given a task to the processor. But while the operator is walking to the processor, the off-shift kicked in and the operator stopped. By right, the 2nd shift operator is supposed to continue with the task, but as he is not given with the task. Hence the processor has to wait till 2nd shift ends and the 1st shift operator resume.

How am I able to overcome that?

Thanks

David

David,

you could use all standard settings in FlexSim, if you just connected the output ports from the operators back to the dispatcher. Whenever an operator goes off shift with this setting, the started TS is returned to the dispatcher to be reassigned.
Of course, the operator is not walking back to his assigned network node. You still would have to do that manually.

Best wishes
