License Server back up
We were able to do most of our maintenance without interrupting the license server. In the end, it was only down from approximately 11:30am until 12:00pm MDT, Saturday April 9.
At this point our maintenance is complete. Our website, flexsim.com, can already access the license server to display your licenses. Your Flexsim installations may take up to 24 hours to be able to talk to the new license server. This is due to our server being on a new IP address and the time it takes the new DNS record for license.flexsim.com to propagate around the world. I hope that no one is adversely impacted by this down time. We don't have any further maintenance scheduled, but if/when such is necessary, we will once again announce it in this community forum and on the calendar on our flexsim.com home page. If any of you are still experiencing problems contacting the license server by Monday April 11, please let me know. I don't expect any problems, however. License Server - technical difficulties
Our license server is currently down. We're working as fast as possible to get it back up.
At this point we don't know the cause, and I don't feel confident enough to offer any guesses. But when we find out we'll do our best to ensure that it doesn't become a problem again. Sorry for the interruption in our services. |

Sorry - I thought that I'd updated this thread.
We got the license server back up and running a couple of hours after this announcement. It looks like it was a hard drive problem on the system. Thanks. |
