Exclamation GUI Tutorial

Hi, all.
I indeed want to know how to make GUI for my simulation model like X-supermarket.
However, it is to hard to analyze how people created the GUI for this model.
I looked at the user manual, but it does not contain the details of making GUI efficiently.
Is there any tutorial anyone can upload for me?
It is too difficult to track each attribute on GUI.
Even if I use tree and GUI controller, the way that connects the objects in the simulation to the GUI is hard to follow because no window pops up even after I double click the attribute.
Is there anyway to pop up the window that shows all the information that an attribute of GUI has?
Thank you.

Right click on the GUI and go to View->Explore Structure. The part of the GUI you click on will influence what is displayed in the tree. If you need to go to a higher level in tree, right click the root node and go to View->Up.
