Hi
Is there anyway to make this model run smoother. I'm not sure if its possible? I'm jsut starting it and its already looking too complex. Summary 18 racks with a combined capacity of 2700 flow items, 9 ASRS Vehicles, Once all of the rack positions are full it runs really slowly. The spec of my machine is not great (Compaq nc6220 laptop). Ideally I would like to make this model bigger and add on another 8 racks and 3 more ASRS vehicles but its already looking unmanageable. If anyone can suggest a similar way of modelling this without showing all of the detail I would be pleased to hear it. Thanks in Advance Anth |

This models runs extremely fast on a computer with a graphics card. See my post here.
You could hide the contents of the racks to make the 3d view display faster on a computer with embedded graphics like your Compaq. |
