Default About man-machine joint operation model

Hi, what I want to build is a man-machine joint operation model. The whole process is : pre-processing(task of operator), setup(task of operator), auto-run(task of machine),unload(task of operator). During the auto-run period, the operator gets free, but I want him turn to next item and do the pre-processing, instead of waiting for the finish of auto-run only. Then when he finishes the pre-processing of the item, continues to unload the item past auto-run or wait if the auto-run is still not finished. After unloading, load the item given pre-processing, and then repeat the cycle again. How could achieve this? I guess maybe task sequence could do it but I can not work it out correctly.

Expecting your answer.

Given that your process can handle multiple items at once, it sounds like you need to split the operation across a number of processors, some of which require an operator and some that don't. Otherwise you could have used the multiprocessor, but that only handles one item at a time.

Would a preparation processor and then a multiprocessor work, or does the area where you load the part into the machine have a capacity of more than one too?

Jason, I have tried the method you told, but two problems came out:
1.if we need more than one processor which were not in the same position, the same operator would walk around, and cause unwanted time he shouldn’t have spent actually.
2.how to queue the task if there were more than one task exists?

If you need an operator to operator two processors at the same position, connect them to the same network node. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking about queuing the jobs.

Perhaps you could upload the model here with your correct capacities so we can determine what you need.

Here's a small model for discussion if that helps.
