Default simple pallet question (i think)

hello everyone,

i have the following question: I have a queue (=queue20) that receives a pallet with a few boxes on. the operators have to pick one box at a time and bring it to it's destinated queue (queues 12 --> 17), and the pallet has to stay in queue20 untill the pallet is empty. When it is empty it has to go to a new queue (=queue25).

to make it more understandible, i added a simple model. can somebody help me?

thank you very much!

I did not have a look into your model. But why not using a Seperator and two Queues? One Queue for the pallet controlled (Output) by the other Queue which is for the products. OnExit of the QueueProducts open the output of the QueuePallet if the last products leave. At OnEntry on the QueuePallet close the output. The operator picks the products from the QueueProducts. You could also control the input of the Seperator to prevent an increase of the capacity, because there might be only space e.g. for one pallet.
I hope you get the idea. If not, please feel free to ask again.

Hi,

One more thing regarding the Separator.
In the Flow Tab and Send to Port, the default action is to
send the items on the pallet to port 2 and the pallet to port 1.
Then you do not need to use open and close ports.

Look at the Separator.
