Default Multiple Cranes - best way

I looked at two different examples of dual cranes on the same gantry. It appears that they simply put two cranes in the model and dropped them in the same place. Is this the best way to handle it?
Any other recommendations?

Default Two cranes on a single frame

I think merging two cranes together is the best way to simulate two cranes on a single frame. The collision between the cranes can be avoided by using the crane logic under the collision tab.

Hello Arun,
Can you show an example of two cranes under the same frame?

Default Two Crane in 1 Frame

Dear Ardodul,

The attached is the model with two cranes on a single frame. In this model, two Cranes are placed together and the frames and beams of one Crane are deleted using the Animation editor, which resembles two Cranes in a single frame.

Along with these, the two Cranes are made members of the collision so that they will not collide.

If this idea meets your requirement, you can use this.Else some others will come with a better idea.

Regards,

Arun KR,
