Use flexsim3 3D media in flexsim4.32?
I find that the 3d medias in flexsim 3's fs3d and bitmap directory are more than flexsim 4's.
So, I want to copy all files in flexsim 3's fs3d and bitmap directory into flexsim 4's, I want to know if this operation is safe? thanks Last edited by qin tian; 12-15-2008 at 01:39 AM. |

If you think it may be unsafe, make a backup copy of everything in the Flexsim3 bitmap and fs3d directory so you can "undo" any file replacements that cause problems. I don't think it should cause any problems, though, but it's always better safe than sorry.

It is perfectly safe, except that if you overwrite any of the files that are currently in your Flexsim4 directory that may have been updated between Flexsim3 and Flexsim4, you will be stuck will old Flexsim3 files.
