How to display the conveyors flow on the 2nd and third floor
Does anyone have experiences to display the conveyors on the first, and second floor, Rack through to second floor?
The height of the racks are located at the ceil of the second floor. The ASRS vehicles of the racks transport items to the racks through to second floor. The input and output conveyors are located at both the first and second floors. How can I display the second floor and the conveyors on it ? For example, can the second floor be displayed as half transparency as the first floor to be looked fine? I want to hear or receive the experiences or ideas. Regards. |

I have done this before and there are a few different ways to do it. First is to do exactly what you are asking and make the second floor conveyors transparent to a certain degree. To do this copy and name the texture for the conveyor you are using to a different name. The texture is changed in the parameters GUI in the upper right of the first tab. Next open the renamed texture and make the entire picture (or parts if you desire) grey or black depending on the level of transparency you want (black = 100% transparent). Then save that file as name.tpj or name.tmp depending on whether the file was a jpg or bmp.
The second way of making the first visible is you place all of the second floor equipment in a Visual Tool. You can then make a GUI that will toggle the draw contents of the Visual Tool. This will effectively make the second floor disappear and then reappear. I have attached the see through texture that I was using. This is not a default texture for a conveyor though, instead it will draw a mostly transparent box with slightly less transparent arrows on it to indicate the direction of travel. Good Luck, Brandon
