Sensors with Timer Delays

I'm working on a model that has over 100 sensors located in different places along conveyor sections. Most of the sensors are fired when a bottle is either present or not present on the conveyor where the sensor is located. There will be multiple timers associated with each sensor many of which will be accumulating time simultaneously. Each timer will also have a preset in milliseconds. A procedure will receive inputs from the sensors and will initiate the timers. The procedure will send commands to another procedure depending on whether or not the timers reach their preset values.

Does anybody know the best method for handling this many timers and preset values? Model preformance is critical.
