Modeling container trucks
Hi, I'm currently building a cross docking facility using the standard flexsim version (non CT). Right now I'm trying to model container trucks moving in and out of the facility, dropping and picking up goods as they do so. My question is: Is the transporter most suited for this purpose or is there a better way of simulating the trucks?

Lin,
The Transporter is fine for doing what yoiu want and there are some previous posts that will inform you on how to make is stop drawing the forks. The Basic TE might would probably be more work but it would give you better results. If you are going to be modeling a cross docking facility at or close to the same level of detail as CT then I would recommend that you just use CT as it will save you a lot of time. Good Luck, Brandon
