Configure Flexsim 4.01 with Visual Studio Express
I was trying to configure Flexsim 4.01 to work with Visual Studio Express (2005 and 2008). When I select the Express-Version in the standard configurator, I get an error message: "Visual Studio 2005 Express is not currently supported by Flexsim" and there is no option to select 2008-Version. I also tried to do this in the advanced configurator. When I am then compiling an empty project in Flexsim i get a compiler-error that "windows.h" could not be found.
Does anyone has experience with Visual C++ Express-Version? Would be great if anyone could help me to figure out how to get this working! susanne |

Hi Susanne,
You can not use the Express Version of Visual Studio in 4.01, you need to upgrade to the latest version 4.32. The you can use Visual Studio Express 2008 (not 2005). Lars-Olof |
