How to change a label on an item in a Rack ?

how the logic for adding age (+1) each day on the item?
for example,

product day1 day2 day3 etc
A 0 1 2

To change the label of item in a rack, I will firstly use rackgetitembybaylevel() to find out the reference of item. And then use addlabel() or setlabel() to add or change a label.(using "for" or "while" loop for batch modifying)
