Time Tables
I have shift timings as below
1st shift : 7:00 am to 3:00 pm = working period 9:00 am to 9:10 am = Tea Break 12:00 pm to 12:20 pm = Lunch break Since, in flexsim we can enter time table in 15 min step. Is it possible to enter such shift timings? |

For now, if you set them to 15 minutes (tea) and 30 minutes (lunch) you can then go into the table mode and alter the duration of the stops from 900 secs to 600 (tea) and from 1800 to 1200 (lunch).
There will be more options related to this in an upcoming version. |

It can also be achieved if you set your Time Table to repeat daily as this provides a time step of 5min increments. But the Model Start Date does not come into effect, only the Model Start Time.

Hey thanks Sagar.
Problem with your solution is that then I can not define Saturday and Sunday which are non-working days. My schedule is weekly schedule Monday To Friday. |

Apply the weekly pattern you have and then choose 'Custom'. You'll get the values from Monday at 00:00 hrs so if you need to start the model at a different time to that, you'll have to adjust the table.

Adding to Jason's post, you can use the custom option by entering the time for the week in the model time units next to the "Repeat" drop down, and specifying every downtime event for the week in the table below. Each downtime event will need a new row.
The attached example might help explain this better. In this case, the time units are in seconds. This model runs for five days a week and runs three shifts a day, with a three hour break after the third shift. The model starts at time "0", runs until "75600"(21 Hrs) and then stops for "10800"(3 Hrs) resuming production and stopping again at "162000"(45 Hrs) from start, this process continues until "421200"(Day 5) where the weekend downtime is "183600"(Remainder of Day 5 + two days) before circling back to the start after "604800"(7 Days). |
