random interrupts on locations

Hi,

is it valid to use random interrupts with the option close inputs and then open inputs on patient processing locations??.

i ask this because i'm getting weird results on a demo. after i add the random interrupts i get a shorter averrage lenght of stay that without the interrupts. i analized the model and when i use the interrupts more than one patient enters a processing location at the same time (with capacity 1)

i'm using wrong the option? it's not supossed to be used on locations??

The STOP_Input in the Down Function and RESUME_Input in the Resume Function are valid options to control flow into & out-of a processing location. We did find a problem in the RESUME_Input option that was allowing multiple patients into a location under some circumstances that we needed to fix with better code for the resume input option. This fix is in the current released version of the software (4.3.10).

Cliff, i was told this and the solution by support, forgot to update on the issue here...
