Pointer needed: Two groups of taskexecutor that interacting with one another
Hi
I need someone to point me to the place in the forum where I could find some examples of have two teams of task executors that work with one another. This is the scenario. I have a team of operators say 3. I have a forklift and a pallet jack. When the flowitem arrives, an operator to pick up the pallet jack to pick up the flowitem and the another operator to pick up the forklift. The pallet jack that has the flowitem will pass the flowitem to the forklift. The forklift will send the flowitem to the next queue. Thanks David

Dear David Chan ,
Here I think you have to do Coordinate Task Sequencing to handle the operators ,Pallet Jack and the Fork Lift together. The following links will give you idea on Coordinate Task Sequencing. http://www.flexsim.com/community/for...ead.php?t=1324 http://www.flexsim.com/community/for...?do=file&id=77 Regards, Arun KR |

Arun and others,
I am back to check some other pointers if you come across. Appreciate very much. I have such a warehouse scenario with some of the items will only carry by operators, some will need an operator with a TE and some will require two TEs that each is operated by an operator (this is the same as what I asked the last time). The problem that I faced are: 1. The operator while in the TE will response to the call of the queue that fired a task sequence. 2. The TE will not complete all the tasks in unloading from one single dock first, but run between two docks. (Can Break to requirement be used in this case?) 3. If I have three operators and two TEs, the operator will always exchange with the operator that is in the TE. How can I get this operator to response to other request? One question that I have is that the last parameter in the insertallocatedtask. What does 1-unblock and 0-block means? Look forward for some kind soul to point me to the solution. Thanks!
