Excluding weekend from output statistic
Hi,
I'm modeling a lab where samples turnaround time do not count over the weekend. It's not a terminating system where you have to clear out everything before finishing off the day but the way they measure KPI is to exclude weekend from the time stamp. Is there anyway to do that ? Thank you, Ploy |

Hi,
the statistic is stored in bundles. It is a own datatype. Maybe you use the command from my post or the whole thread from Alex. Jörg |

Filtering out records from the history bundles on the fly is a possibility, but could be dangerous in some cases like with patient census records because the records come in pairs that shouldn't be split up.
Most of the dashboards in HC allow filtering by time of day, but filtering by day of week on a repeating basis doesn't work well. Your best bet might be to conduct your own post-run analysis on the raw data Output files you can easily create in HC. It should be straight forward to filter the data files by simulation time to remove weekends using a tool like Minitab, Excel or Access. |
