What is involved in creating new TASKTYPE_ commands

Ladies and Gentlemen,
a question to those familiar with the implementation of FlexSim Objects.
What is involved in creating new task types?
Is it sufficient to implement their support in begintask() and findnextdurativetask()?
Is there a way to add a textual description for a new task type so it appears visualized correctly in the statistics property page at runtime?

It appears to be the case. I have created a new task for the forklift for positioning its forks at arbitrary height and it seems to be working fine.
