Recording a [hi-res] video
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have discovered that the speed parameter is very important when recording a high resolution video. Even though the movie recording object is the bottleneck for Flexsim, it can still pump out frames faster than the codec can encode and store them. As a result occasionally Flexsim freezes and frames get dropped, resulting in ruined video. I found a simple solution - when I set the run speed to 0.18 the problem disappears even when recording in full HD resolution. -- VF |
