Hi,everyone. I draw a model with Google SketchUp 7 and exported it out in 3DS format.what's more,I have replaced the 3D Shape of one standard object with my 3DS model successfully.But when I try to change the color of the object,it does not work.

Sometimes,the texture of my built 3DS model do not display at all.And I once used AC3D to build 3ds or wrl models, their color could be displayed in a beautiful way,but the color of them could not be changed either.
Anybody can help me?Thanks in advance.
