About Double trolley Over Head Crane...
Dear.
I have some issues about overhead cranes... The plant has three over head cranes on the same over head rail. 1) The first has one trolley, the second and the third has each double trolleys. 2) Each cranes need each one workman for operating manually. The issues are followed; 1) the collision among three OH cranes. I think this will be solved using Collision tab after setting three cranes at the same place. 2) How can I control double trolley in one OH crane? 3) When operating the cranes, how can the operators be controlled? I need your experience and help. |

Hello,
2) double trolley crane with two cranes: Maybe it isn't the standard solution. You can copy the kinematic node of the crane, that executes a task to the other crane and deletes all kinematicsets that doesn't belong to the gantry movement. Update the kinematic as long the gantry moves. A separate logic should controll each trolley dependent on the gantry position. Only tasks that can be done on the same gantry position can be dispatch to one of the two trolleys. The collision can absolutely be independent from all the other controlling. Detect collisions of gantry- and trolley-movement independently. Use preempting in the tasksequences combined with a very high priority to drive a crane out of a collision zone. Set the preempted tasksequence to a higher priority, so it will be executed next. Jörg |
