Plotting Global Table

Hi,

We are recording simulation data in a global table and want to plot these data during simulation run.

Similar to if you have data in multiple columns in excel, you can do the plotting of all data on the same chart and can represent data series with different color.

It provides end user visibility to model and he can comprehend what is going on during simulation, rather than just looking on simulation and watching moving objects.

Searched in manual and forum but could not find any solution yet.

Flexsim is not Excel so plotting is very limited. You can create your own gui with line chart and show some data through that. Other solutions would be:
Send it realtime to excel or a database and use that to plot from
Create your own chart in Flexsim with using opengl commands on a planar view

I think that this is one of the options Flexsim is working on to improve but I'm not certain so waiting is also an option

is there an easy way to plot a GlobalVariable. I have tried to do it the way I would plot an object label (recorder, user-defined data, node: MAIN:/project/model/Tools/GlobalVariables/variable12/Data). It doesn't work. Any ideas?
