Merge Sort Virtual Length

I'm using several merge sort objects in my model. When I set the virtual length, flow items tend to fly off the end of the object and are not sorted. When I remove the virtual length, there are no problems.

I remember reading about this problem, but cannot find the thread.

Any ideas?

Hi,

When do you change the value of the virtual length? During a simulation run there exists a problem with the already created events for each flowitem. The events aren't calculated twice.
As a work around you can change the conveyor speed, instead of changing the length.
