Multiple flowitems in a process

Hey all

I am trying to simulate a process that requires an operator to set up, then runs multiple flowitmes at the same time. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Hopefully one of you can help!

If I understood your problem right, you should try it with turning on the "Use Operator for Setup" field and set the maximum capacity of the machine to a number higher than 1. The operator and the machine should be connected per Centerport with each other, this way the standard function works.
If your problem is another one, you should upload an exampel modell.

Thanks for the response. Doing it that way didn't work because flexsim wont let you use an operator and have a machine capacity greater than 1. However, I did find a way that works. I am using a combiner in batch mode, having the combiner pull the correct number of flowitems from a queue, and using an operator for set up only.

Yes, you are right. Sorry, I didn´t understood your problem this way, but got the same problems some time before. Solved it exactly this way.
