Exporting From Flexsim Chart
I have been looking at the Flexsim Chart results & stats area as a quick way of collecting stats on a small model. Unfortunatley it only outputs as mdb, as with a lot of people we do not use MS access, is it possible to export to an SQL db if not would it be possible to add this to the next version.

Flexsim Chart uses the .mdb file as an way of passing information from the main Flexsim application to the Flexsim Chart application. It really isn't intended for people to open directly. Even people that do not have Access installed should be able to use Flexsim Chart. If this is not the case, please let me know.
By the way, the majority of the statistics that Flexsim Chart reports are not actually stored in that .mdb file. Instead, it stores a history of events that occurred during the model run. That data is then analyzed by Flexsim Chart and the statistics are reported from that analysis. |
