Question on sending to different ports
Right now I have one lane that's dedicated to bobtails. It's input port is a gate process that's sending bobtails to it with "conditional port" content(item)==0. I need help on sending the bobtails to another lane when the bobtail lane is full. Any suggestions?

You could use a Pull Requirement on the lane that pulls only bobtails. There isn't a simple pick option there, but you can change the pull requirement code to:
return content(item)==0; Then you could just return First Available from the Gate Process and connect its first output port to the bobtail lane. This way, it tries to send bobtails to that lane first, but if it is full, it will send them to other lanes. Is this what you want it to do? |
