Default Grafic Card settings

Hi,

just got another Notebook and wondered why grafics in Flexsim look very bad?
Had a look into Flexsims Global Preferences but didn´t found anything. Played around in settings of graficcard but didn´t found the right tick.
Does anyone has a hint for me, what to do for a better (not pixel) view? Looks a little like flexsim doesn´t use grafic card.

Notebook:
Dell Precision M 6600
Grafic:
NVidia Quadro 4000 M

Greetings

Look for anti-aliasing settings. That's an aliasing problem.

Sometimes it might be you have not set Flexsim to use the graphic card as some of the system has 2 graphic display Intel HD and Nvidia. Check if graphic card is assigned for Flexsim.

And you might check for the newest driver from Nvidia. Not the official driver which is provided and approved by Dell but the newst from the Nvidia website.

That solved a similar problem (OpenGL game) for me with I had with a IBM Thinkpad.

"Anti aliasing" settings solved the problem for me.
Out IT promised me to install newest driver. Didn´t know that there is a difference of what homepage that driver is. Will have a look for this later. But so far everything works fine.
Thanks for your very fast help and solutions

Default Best graphic card setting

Hi

Is there recommended graphic card setting for the settings provided with the graphic cards for using Flexsim?

Some of these terminologies seems alien to me. What do they control?

Please advise.

Thanks

David
