Question Collada files with changeable colors

Is there a way to use FlexSim object color for .dae-files (FlexSim 7)?

I've tried it with the solution for .3ds (AC3D) and .skp (Sketchup) and an export to .dae but both ways don't work. Any suggestions or hints

Hello Carsten,

I haven't tested it, but at the Wikipedia the Sketchup format .KMZ Version 8 contains a collada-file. Maybe you can convert an object with the ability to change the color to the specified format and compare it.

From Phil:

"_fsclr" at the end of the material name to have color show through
60, 60, 62 ambient color to have color show through
"fstx.png" texture to have texture show through

You can edit the collada file using a text editor if your application doesn't support material renaming.
