Default Problem with installation (new problem)

Hi I have a new problem with the installation of Flexsim with Vista.

Enclosed is the message. I have tried it with administrator mode and same problem occurs.

If you have encountered this problem, please advise me how to solve it.

Have you tried to uninstall the existing installation first? That will sometimes help.
And do you run the file from a network drive? That sometimes also gives problems, so first copy the file to your local pc.

We had another user with this same Vista installation issue. He was able to fix it by registering VBScript.

For some reason Vista doesn't register VBScript. In order to do so:

1) find where vbscript.dll is, mine was in C:\Windows\System32, but I think it changes dependent on your OS version.
2) Go to start -> accessories and the right click on command prompt and click "run as administrator"
3) type "cd C:\Windows\System32" (replace the directory name if your .dll was in a different different location)
4) type "regsvr32 vbscript.dll".

It should then confirm that vbscript has been registered and everything should work. This will fix a few installs.
