Default problem of recorder

In the test model of the attachment, the recorder's ReadCount is 2 and the AvgValue is 0.5. According to a previous post, I think the AvgValue should be 1.

I am very confused about this. What's the meaning of ReadCount? Does it mean the second interval in this case?

Hope someone to help me. Thanks in advance.

If I open the model, I don't see anything happening on the recorder? What am I missing?

You can double click the recorder, then click "view Captured Data", then run the model, and you will find what happens in the recorder.

Qin,

The thing that you experience as a problem is the order in which Flexsim deals with the events. You have set the interval of the recorder at 10 seconds (double click | Data Capture Settings)
This means that the recorder only checks at 10, 20, 30 etc. You can check this by not letting the model run but simply click on the "Step" button several times. Than you see that it jumps to:
5 product enters
10 recorder checks
15 product enters
20 recorder checks

and then it should check at 30 again but it is stopped before that. So if you put the stop time at 31 seconds you will find that the 30 second check is also executed and the average is 1 (as expected)
