Default Dock a Custom GUI

Hi all,

A custom GUI can be docked like a dashboard or a perspective view by adding a tab window attribute node to it. The tab window number is 101 and a child node named OnDropWindow with the code given below have to be created inside tab window for docking.

applicationcommand("dockwindow", i, c, eventcode);

The attached is the sample model, which I tried. Please give your suggestions.

Regards,

Arun KR,

Thank you! Arun KR
It works well.
As a rookie, I still have some questions?
1. In your model, we can expand the object data of "Dashboard" and "Dashboard2" in a tree view. I can not expand the object data of any dashboard since Version7.0. I am so confused how did you make it?
2. How does the attribute "tab window" work? I have never see it in any GUI. Or why the OnDropWindow is under "tab window" instead of "eventfunctions".

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Jing,

Tha tab window attribute allows a window to combine with other tab windows. I don't know how the tab window attribute and OnDropWindow work internally.

Dear Arun KR,

Thanks for your patience to explain, and I had found the tab window attribute in View:/active/MainPanel/BackPanel/SplitterXPane/QuickProperties and the number of it is 102 which allow Quick Properties can only be docked in another mode.

In fact, I care more about the question 1. Could you give me a clue?

Dear Jing,

If you right click and explore the node structure you can see the child nodes.
