Default CONVERTING FLEXSIM TIME UNITS TO DATES

Does anyone know how to convert Flexsim time units into dates while the model is running. Each time unit in my model is a day and I can convert back and forth in Excel but this is not convenient. I am looking for a way to set up a visual tool which will display the date while the model is running.

Dan,

The only automatic way to do so in flexsim is described in the following pot by Reagan: http://www.flexsim.com/community/for...hread.php?t=33

Basically you drag a VisualTool into your model and set it display text. Under "Text Display", choose "Display Time". To display the day or week you will need to add some aditional code. This option is expecting the time units to be in seconds so you will need to add a modifier to the time value so that it calculates correctly.

If you are lookng for the exact date, not just the number of days, weeks, or years later then you will probably need to create your own user command. I have included a link to a website that may help with this if you need to go this way: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A22548314

Good Luck,
Brandon
