Default Rack Visual Tool Auto Resizing...

hi. i'm pretty new to flexsim and this forum, but i have read some great information here!

ok. here is my simple aesthetic issue. flexsim 5.0.4.

when building a rack, using the gui, why does the bay width automatically round up in size? in the basic box, i define the bay width as 0.3950, hit apply, and all the bay widths become .3950. but when i individually click on them in the advanced box, they automatically round up to .4...very annoying aesthetic issue. is this a known problem?

like i said, i'm pretty new to flexsim, so i'm still an amateur at hard coding, but i guess this situation could be avoided by directly editing the tree and not touching the visual tool. is this the only solution?

thanks for the help!

This is a bug in the GUI. It is using a hard-coded 2 decimal places rather than reading the global precision value. I've added it to the dev list to fix for the next version.

Good to know. So I have to create 35 different rack profiles, all with specific dimensions. How should i go about this? First, use the GUI template with my defined attributes. then edit the tree for those characteristics that need more than 2 decimal places, and try never to click the GUI again?

my question is, can i code out all the specific dimensions of each bay? where would be the best place to do this?
