Default Loading a saved fails to open console and model windows

Hi all,

it should say "Loading a saved MODEL fails to open console and model windows", sorry for the typo.
I'm currently experiencing a minor but annoying problem. When I load a saved model by double-clicking on the .fsm file FS opens and then loads the model (without opening any windows or views) and in the status bar "Autoload media" appears. This changes to "Done binding objects." but no window pops up and I'm facing a blank FS. As soon as I click on the 3D button the model view appears and this way (by clicking the corresponding button) I can open all other windows (such as consoles, GUIs and so on).
In case I load the saved model a second time (without saving the model or closing Flexsim before, just reloading the model!) all windows appear automatically and the manual reopening is not necessary. I played around a bit and found that this is not only the case for models that were update from 5.04 to 5.1 but for new models as well. Therefore I'll attach a simple model to this post and maybe someone can tell if this is a problem in the model file or a problem in FS or something else. I also noticed that my files in FS5.1 are quite small compared to FS5.04 for the same model.

Thanks,
Stephan

Stephan,

one of the new features in Flexsim is an automatic file compression for *.fsm, *.fsl and *.t files. That way files saved in the latest Flexsim version are significantly smaller than they were before.

Good luck.
