Default Robot as Transporter

Hello,

I am trying to model a machining cell where a robot on rails, picks and places parts in different machines as and when called by the machines. I have worked this problem in Plantsim, where a transporter can be used to mimic a robot and it can be placed on a track to simulate rails. I am not sure if the transporter object in Flexisim can be used in a similar way or if there is any alternate method to simulate a material handling robot. I am still in the process of learning Flexsim and would appreciate any help regarding this..thank you

Hello,

in this Thread a user has the problem from the opposite side. His Robot travels as a normal Taskexecuter. He had built an Network and had connected the Robot to it then he deleted the Network and the Robot was still traveling as a Operator.
In flexsim you can move an object into in another, too, and combine their behaviours. You achieve this with drag and drop or by command from the script window with moveobject.

It´s really easy to do what you want. Just create a network and connect your robot to it.
