Smile Time Table Experimenter

Hello,

I am trying to desing an experiment with the experimenter tool, but i want to introduce as a variable the time of processor performance, i mean, put the processor in a time table, and after put the time table as a variable in the experimenter. So the question is: How can i design an experiment with a variable as a time table?, is it possible?, i want to prove an schedule for the process.

Thanks a lot.

Greetings from Barranquilla, Colombia.

Hi,

In the attached sample model, I added a numeric label on the Processor. This label is equal to the rank of a time table. In the Processor's OnReset trigger, there are a few lines of code to add the Processor as a member of this time table.

Then you can simply use this label as a variable for your experimentation.

For example in the attached model, I created 3 time tables, depending on when we take the lunch break:
  1. from 11 am to 12 pm
  2. from 12pm to 1pm
  3. from 1pm to 2 pm

If you look at the dashboards saved for these 3 scenarios, as expected the WIP starts increasing at a different time depending on when we take the lunch break.

Hi?

Based on the model created by Clair, I had found another two commands to add and remove the time tables linked to the Processor.

Wish that would help beginner understand Clair's model better.

Default Picklist option: Assign members to timetables

Thanks for your help Jing.

I noticed that there is a picklist option related to our topic in the view tree:
VIEW:/picklists/onscenariostartpicklist/Assign members to timetables

However in 7.5.4 I don't see where this picklist option is proposed, maybe that was used in a previous release.
