Default About saving files

Hello there!

I have a question regarding of saving models into a CD-Rom. How can I save a model with all the new 2-D and 3-D forms, so I can see them on any computer? Is there any kind of route that allows me to save a model and see all its characteritics anywhere, just like the models you have on this website?

The thing is, I'm saving this new forms with a kind of route that only works in one computer.

I hope you understand my english

Thank you!

Hi Fernando,

Flexsim uses relative paths. You can see this in each properties window of an object in the visual tool page "General". If you put your model into another directory you should also copy the shapes relativ to your model.

Best regards

Carsten

Thanks for your answer.

I also need to know how can I lock the model, so nobody can make changes on it once it's downloaded to the computer.

Flexsim can't protect a model. But you can lock the objects location, size and rotation.
