Lightbulb github for flexsim models

Hello,
Has anybody used git for flexsim model development? (personally I am a big fan of git) what is the best option that I have for being more professional for flexsim model development?

how about TortoiseSVN or TortoiseHG for flexsim models. Can somebody compare different pros and cons of these tools in this conext?

Check out the Flexsim XML topic in the user manual. There toroisesvn is named and how to use Flexsim File Map to spread your model out.

We have used svn and switched to mercurial (tortoisehg) but we develop a lot of libraries (c++) for Flexsim. Both work well but mercurial is a DVCS and has much better merging capabilities. So easier to work with multiple people and to do branching etc.

I would like to try git one time but from what I read it is very close to HG, so for now there is no reason to switch.
