Talking skp.file

Dear All ,Have you ever met with skp.file problem or can you help with the problem please ? we use the demand regsvr32 \"c:\\program files (x86)\\flexsim6\\program\\sketchupreader.dll\" to upload skp.file into Flexsim version 6 . For all version since Flexsim 7.0 ,after the installation we even can not find the sketchupreader .Now we hardly ever upload skp.file successfully.I will appreciate whatever your suggestions.Thank you !

I have exchanged the shape of an object with a sketchup model downloaded from the sketchup warehouse. The object looks like the sketchup model. I have not got any problems with skp-files.

In version 7, we updated our Sketchup importer to the latest version of their SDK, which no longer requires the SketchupReader.dll that required registration. Instead it uses slapi.dll, which does not require registration.

The newer importer supports Sketchup files up to version 8. Sketchup 2014 files will not import properly. Our next FlexSim release will include support for Sketchup 2014 files.

There is a bug in the 7.1.4 SKP importer where it doesn't work properly with Unicode characters in the file path.

I've fixed this for our next release so that SKP files will import properly even if they have Chinese characters in the file path.

It looks like Flexsim 7.3.6 doesn't work with Sketchup 2015 files.
Here is an example Sketchup model I tried. The 2015 version was not working, but 2014 was.

Can we expect Sketchup 2015 support in a future release?
