Default Modeling Line Jockeying in Flexsim HC

Every now and then, something fun to do comes across my desk that just can't be denied. This model and supporting "How-to" paper address the issue of line jockeying. Jockeying occurs when two or more parallel lines lead to the same set of servers and a patient moves from the end of one line to the end of another because the other line appears to be moving faster. The modeling challenge lies in allowing patients to move from line to line and back again at will. The analytical challenge however, lies in evaluating just what the benefits of an M/M/2 queue might be!
