Question Data production in a model

Hallo there,

I am trying to make a production line where a piece will go by multiple stations to suffer a transformation, I simulated this by using lots of combiners to one board and drop the "final product" to a queue. What I would like to do now, and I have the feeling it should be easy, is I would like to know how many pieces it has been produced per day (in an 8h shift)?

Also but maybe more sendly I have a transporter taking all the objects to a rack but what if I wanted the transporter to go only by the end of the day?

Hello Paulo,

you can close the output of the queue on the begin of every shift. When the shift ends, you open the output of the queue again. Then flexsim creates the tasksequences which let do the transporter its jobs.
One way to implement the needed events exists in using delayed messages.
