Default TWO OPERATIONS ON A PROCESSOR

Hi,

I'm doing my project work on a factory that manufactures hydraulic pumps...

For a perticular component the machining(turning) is performed on either side one followed by other side.

When the turning is performed on first side it is called as operation I followed by turning on the second side called as operation II.


Kindly, help me in developing a logic for giving input into the flexsim software.

If the product stays on the same place just use 1 time by adding both times together. If an operator is needed in between use a multiprocessor to model both operations seperately while staying at the same location.

An operator is required, he has to unload the component turn it upside down and then load it again into the chuck.

so should i use a multiprocessor???

Think the Multiprocessor is only a solution if you got some processes with different number of required operators. If you only got 2 processes, Standard Processor could be used because of it´s "Setup" function.
Setup function is like a second process with possibility of using different number of operators. And it is even separated in statistics.
