Default Total time in model for a flowtime

Is there a way to define the total time that a flowitem can remain in the system? A way to define the max time it should make from the source to the sink and define it from the beggining.

Do you mean the lifetime of a flowitem? You can create a label for each item, and write code in the source to record the starttime, and write code in the sink to record endtime. Calculate lifetime by starttime and endtime, and record the lifetime in global table, etc.
