Question Line Up transporters

Hi,

I have a few transporters (say, 3), that want them to do some job and when they are done, come and stand in a line.

My question is about the final arrangement. The transporter who reaches sooner to the line, will stand in the line as No. 1 and so on.

How can I do this lining up?
and afterwards that Transporter No.1(here, it means first arrived at the line) leaves, I want, of course, the second transporter in the line to move and replace it.

I am thinking about somehow like a conveyor for the transporters instead of flowitems.
Thanks for your suggestions.

You could try just getting them to travel to the same network node but have them block space on the network, and have the network path non-passing.

Here's an example.

The key things are:
1) the travellers should be set to block network space.
2) the queueing node capacity should be set to 1 (Maximum Tavellers at Node)
3) the path should be set to non-passing

The 'spacing' parameter of the path (NN4 to NN1 in the example) decides how far apart they sit in line.
