Default Module: AStar Navigator

The AStar Navigator module gives you another way to have task executer objects move from point A to point B, and can be much easier and less time consuming than setting up paths with Network Nodes. The module is free to all FlexSim users, and this video will show you how to download and use it.

Default AStar with a Rack object

I am playing around with the AStar module in combination with a rack.
With network nodes it is possible to let a transporter enter items only on one side of the rack, based on the location of network nodes.

Is it possible to create this behavior with the AStar module? I have tried some options with barriers, but can't seem to get this to work. The transporter will just drive through my rack in some cases.

I have attached a model to clarify the problem.

Esther

If you just use solid barriers that should do the trick. I've attached an updated model.
