Default Excel Tutorial - Need Input!

I'm getting ready to write a tutorial (or more) for Excel and I wanted to ask for the forum's help.

The tutorial will cover the basics to help train new employees in how to use Excel. It will also cover some more advanced topics that could help anybody.

So what I'm looking for from the forum are questions that people have in Excel that they want answered and/or hints or tricks that they have in Excel that they think should be included.

Current List:
-Moving around in Excel
----Shortcut Keys, Copying and Pasting
-Formatting Cells
----Data Format, Cell Format, Text Format
-Conditional Formatting
----Based on Cell Values, Based on Formulas
-Basic Formulas
----If, Sum, Max, Min, Ave, and, or
-Advanced Formulas
----Vlookup, Hlookup, Match, Offset
-Advanced Topics
----Importing Data, Buttons, Updating Graphs

Thanks for the help,
Brandon

Nice idea Brandon. Your list looks good. One additional thing that might be useful to teach is the concept of PivotTables.

What about problems that might arise? wrong office directories, foreign language problems (row and column letters, different csv file formats) excel versions Flexsim works with and doesn't work with.

and for the more advanced user, automatically importing csv file with macro's or visual basic, controlling Flexsim from Excel or the other way around. ODBC with Flexsim.

Start with the basics. I tried it with the current Flexsim help, but I haven't finished this part of my model.

Is your tutorial for using EXCEL with Flexsim or just for EXCEL itself? I am more interested in the first one.

For EXCEL tutorial, you may find a lot of useful informations in the following two links, from EXCEL basics to advanced techniques.
