Default Custom GUI processing time input & script control

I amfacing following challenges in GUI
First one :-
While making Dashboard for the model, I have to put description about the model for that i am using script control in custom GUI, but i am unable to figure out where should i put the model description text, i guess through script control it is done, kindly suggest some solution.
Second one :-
Same in dashboard/custom GUI, i have to take user input for processor processing time & set up time since this variable embedded in flexsim script, i don't know how to access it through edit control on gui for example had it been maxcontent, i would have put----> /Processor13>Variables/maxcontent in the coldlink control attribute.
Third one :-
While importing autocad-2d drawing, i am using visual tool from the library and choosing importshape option, i have also converted autocad drawing to dxf format and performed exact procedure as described in usermanual, changing origin , exploding and removing unnecessary details. Despite of doing all this after importing, no object is visible but it does show some object when you select all but clicking on it does not do anything.

Hoping my points are clear enough.

Thanks in advance.
Regards

Not sure if I fully understood, but here goes:
  1. Put the description on an object in the model (label or variable) or under a node or Globaltable cell in the /Tools folder. You just need a string node somewhere in your model. Coldlink your editbox/ text to that node.
  2. For a simple numerical expression, create a label or variable (called 'proctime' for example) on the object with string data which you can coldlink to. In the processtime code/template get the string expression's value in the trigger using executefsnode(<thenode>,<thenode>). Otherwise, copy the entire pick option into your GUI.
  3. Did you scale the shape factors by 0.001 and did you rotate the y shape offset by 90?
